Smooth, whitish, 12 inch roots are tender and sweet. Harris Model Parsnips have a sweet, nut like flavor. Can be boiled, fried and sauteed in butter. This variety is free of side roots and can be left in the ground all winter for spring use. Freezing improves the flavor.
